Churches Together
We are members of Churches Together in Hoghton Higher Walton and Brindle which is itself part of Churches Together in Lancashire. We have excellent relationships with our friends in the Anglican, Methodist and Roman Catholic churches in this area and do many things in common with them
The Lenten Study groups are due to start week commencing 6th March. These will be taking place at:
The Vicarage, Chapel Lane (Wednesdays 7.30pm),
Jim Lawrenson's home in Methuen Drive (Mondays 10.00am)and
David & Marion Anderson's home on Alders Drive (Thursdays1.30pm).
Full details are at the back of church with a sign in sheet for each venue.
The course we will be following is 'Easter People in a Good Friday World, Witnessing Christ in the Conflict of Life'.
There is plenty of thought provoking content in this course which has been produced by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland and costs £3.99. You will be most welcome.
