We have had a branch of Mothers' Union here since January 1982.

The Mothers' Union is a Christain organisation which promotes the well-being of families Worldwide. The Mission statement has been derived from our Aims & Objects. Membership is open to all who have been baptised in the name of the Holy Trinity and who declare the support for the Aims and Objects of the Society. Mothers' Union has a membership of 3 million in 70 countries Worldwide.


HOLY TRINITY MOTHERS' UNION is a thriving branch with a varied programme and we aim to help people at home and abroad. Some of the projects we take part in are :

4,500 emergency toilet bags have been delivered to the Accident & Emergency Ward at Royal Preston Hospital up to date

Then between J/B & South. Africa -- in September 2004 teddies, jumpers, blankets & pens were donated to the Missionaries of Charity ( founded by Mother Theresa ) in a township area near Pretoria & in April 2005 another assignment of jumpers, blankets , baby clothes are going to be delivered.
