Holy Trinity Hoghton Church Choir

Our church has a long choral tradition.

When the church was refurbished in the 1880's, provision was made for a choir in the chancel so we reckon our choir has at least 120 years' of history.

Our robed choir today consists of some 18 members – men, women and children - but we have a local Churches Together choir which augments numbers to some 40. We are affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and join in their events.

Our practices are held on Monday evenings from 6.30pm for about an hour. All newcomers are welcome, irrespective of their singing ability.

Further information can be obtained from our Organist, Julian Ross, either by contacting him in church at a service, or by email

Since 1st January 2006
